Pats are Playing Bad Football

I am turning the TV off, the New England Patroits game is getting too painful to watch. This is a good choice since I also need to focus on finishing up my homework. With the way the Pats are playing now, I don't see them playing in the playoffs; but then again, the entire AFC East is playing so bad at the moment, the Pats may still stand a good chance.

The Pats will be in the playoffs I bet. 3-3 after the most brutal opening schedule stretch in NFL history and an amazing string of injuries is not bad. As you note, the rest of the AFC East is weak: I hope the Pats go 6-0 against those teams. The bye week is next, and afterwards some key people (C. Dill, Guss Scott, Starks, Ty Poole) should return. And if Bruschi can come back, well... ;)

I'm an optimist, what can I say. There's still that November 7th game with the Colts. Scary.

Can you imagine how busy we would be now if the Red Sox hadn't gotten swept in the playoffs? I guess that's the one good thing to them getting beaten. Might be a short season for the Pats as well =( (Though I have tickets to their next two home games, so they better get their butts in gear!)
