Thesis progress

Finally, I am starting to make some progress on my thesis, which explains the lack of effort on my blog lately. I have finally devised a more plausible hypothesis for my thesis as I found the original one obscure, which resulted in the scope of the thesis too lofty. Another benefit of the revised hypothesis is that data supporting the thesis is easier to obtain. I hope that my new hypothesis will finally give me the momentum that I need to write a good thesis and get it done on time.

From now on, I really need to focus on my thesis and other pertinent school-related work in order to complete my degree program by the end of the year. As far as blogging is concerned, I am going to try writing blog posts that are terse from now on.

Hello there fellow Sam.

Good hunting on that thesis of yours, although you don't give much insight as to the subject matter. As a side note, I approve wholeheartedly of your "Cyber" prefix - most fitting indeed, particularly given the nature of my random visit.

I am on a quest to track down every Sam on the internet and get them competing head-to-head gladitorially for kudos.

I've set up a Sam-tracking top-sites type thing you may or may not be interested in. Swing by my site (www.sam-site.com) for more information - it's no scam, just some fun.

Essentially I'm aiming to recruit as many Sams from the internet as possible for a showdown of some kind. We're an interesting bunch, and it's worth celebrating that fact.

Hope all is well. Yes, I know it's a little weird, but I find the unusual to be interesting.

Best regards

Sam

Good luck on the thesis, Sam. I encountered the blog/thesis/coursework time crunch earlier in the summer, and had to resort to short link lists for about a month or two to keep the blog going while concentrating on academics.
